First time at range with Ruger P95
I got to shoot my 3 week old P95 this past Friday and I have to say I'm quite impressed with it. Easy to use and a pleasure to shoot. My accuracy wasn't bad either. My 17 year old son likes it too.
119 flawless rounds - 100 American Eagle FMJ and 19 Remington Golden Saber.
After I got home I cleaned it up and proudly OC'd it the rest of the weekend including a couple hours in the Mansfield Walmart where I picked up two more boxes of Federal ammo for it.MikeP

Re: First time at range with Ruger P95
I've had my P95 for a while and my round count with it has to be over 12K by now. It has ate everything I've ever fed it without issues, but I shoot mostly hardcast lead handloads through it. I think the accuracy is decent, but it is not by any means a "bullseye" gun, nor am I a crack shot with a handgun. My 25 yard groups (with my handloads) are usually within 5 inches. It has been consistent, reliable, and even my wife likes to shoot it (which is a plus for me.) There are a few threads about the P95 on here, and most posts have been positive.
The only issues I've had with mine was due to a weak magazine release spring a couple of years ago, which I had replaced and the issues were resolved. (The round count then was around 10K.) I can't complain about a 99 cent part after all these years and usage.
I hope you have as much luck (and fun) with yours as I have with mine.
