    Default K22 Masterpiece

I cut out of work early this past Friday and went to my range. I grabbed my gun stash $$ "just in case" there was something that I had to have.

I was looking through the display cases and there she was, a S&W 17-3 K22 Masterpiece for sale on consignment.
I've always wanted one, but I've never found the "right" one, until now

What a beautiful gun. Now I know why S&W called these the "K22 Masterpiece"
The blueing is perfect with only a few very minor issues. The grips are original with the serial # of the gun on the inside. According to the serial #, it was made in 1969. The box and paperwork is in good condition considering that it's almost 40 years old!

Friday was a very good day!

That's pretty damn sharp. What'd they hit you for? I've seen them well into the $700-800 range. And I can't believe you got the serialized box AND all the papers. Lucky bugger.

I shot it friday night. My first two shots were X's at 10 yards.
    That was a good omen.
