So....who's got a Draco???
I don't know why, I have an itch for an AK-47 PISTOL. I may be losing it, but...those of you who own them, are they fun? Practical? Am I nuts? Before i make the jump to something that on the surface looks cool but absolutely useless, I'd like to hear from you! Thanks in advance.

i have one, it's fun to shoot and I'm thinking of SBR"ing it. it has it's niche, but outside of that niche it's not too practical

Re: So....who's got a Draco???
I have one that's tactical out, It's more of a fun to shoot and "wow" factor of a firearm, I think every time I bring it to the range at least 2-3 people come up and ask what is so loud and what it is.

I bought the mini draco to add to my underfolder 47 just for the fun of it. Very fun to shoot - just a toy but very fun

Re: So....who's got a Draco???
As an SBR, it is a very practical PDW offering a compact package with quite a bit of firepower. I just picked one up and form 1 is already on its way to BAFTE. I am going to make a few practical upgrades (rail, MRDS, folder, grip, enhanced safety lever) All in I should be under $900 including the stamp. Considering the costs of a krink build or UR series Arsenal is are well over $1100 bone stock & with out a stamp, I am well a head of the game cost-wise.

Re: So....who's got a Draco???
I have a mini draco......I love it....I find it very easy to fire and very accurate for a smaller barrel. Fits perfectly in a laptop case and sometimes comes with me. Can't cc on body but it makes a good car/get home gun. Also a very short and powerful house pistol. I dont just see it as a toy, I see it as a decent self defence tool.

What about that new Centurion 39 AK pistol? I think that its not classified as an AOW because of the picatinny rail where the foregrip usually is. No need to go through thte ATF.

Re: So....who's got a Draco???
I own a Mini Draco. I did not purchase it for practicality, but rather for fun. It is, to date, the most fun I've had at the range. The sheer "wow" factor this thing commands when being fired is worth the price alone. Ammo is powerful, plentiful, and cheap, and there are tons of accessories that can be made to fit it. I highly reccomend it!
