Considering joining SCCSFA

I am planning on attending the May 29th in anticipation of joining SCCSFA. Hopefully it will turn into a fruitful experience.

I live in West Chester and it's the closest rifle range to me. Between the website, the great response from Amy and the reviews here it looks like a great place to shoot and participate.

I'm a newer member of SCCSFA. They actually changed the membership requirements to require a sponsor for new membership and you can't bring guests or sponsor new members in your 1st year.

Actually, you CAN'T bring guests or sponsor new members for your first "probationary" year.

I joined recently and I believe they're closing membership for now until they cut the numbers a little but they were going to watch and see how things work out. I haven't been there in the past couple weeks but I finally got my new AR out to start sighting it in and have enjoyed my trips there, besides the dang humidity and heat on the days I went. I live just south of Kennett Square so it's just about 15 minutes from me so not too bad! Happy I'm in! Each time I've gone has been mid-week early afternoon and it's been pretty quiet with either nobody on the range I used or 1 or 2 people. Everyone I've seen there thus far has been friendly and nobody has shot me yet, so that's good!

I'm sure membership will open back up quickly. They're pretty good at weeding out the bad folks.
