New Groundhog/Benchrest rifle
Here's my latest. Its a 6mm dasher, I only started building this gun about 4 months ago, and here is the final product. I wanted a hog and comp. gun and this is what I came up with. Mark King did the chambering. I just finished the first 5 bullets to fireform tomorrow, it was more work than I thought, but it better pay off. I got some 105 A-max's and 105 Berger VLD's, one should work.
Hope you ENJOY!

You don't feel a 6 ounce trigger... At all... lol
Nice new setup, the stock is really interesting!

Just like Chaz said, you don't feel a trigger that light. If you're trying to feel it, you already fired it. You gotta know where the trigger already is, and be accustomed to them that light if you want to feel much of anything.
Sorry that I'm a little late to this party. I've been a bit busy, and running around like a chicken with my head cut off, to really give this thread the attention I thought it deserved. I also wanted to wait just a little bit to let it drop down in the list and resurrect it so that more people got to see your new baby.
The stick is beautiful Archer :-), absolutely gorgeous and a work of art. Your other rifle looks great also, as I told you before. Two different rifles for two different tasks. You must have been on top of your stuff if you got it all together in 4 months. I'm curious because you don't mention it, what recoil lug are you using and what's it's width? It's a pretty big boy just from the photo. I like the stock and how it looks pearloid in the front, to fading into a smoky and then black color. It looks good and for what you want to do with it, I'm sure it'll work perfectly.
The 6mm Dashers tend to like the 105's, and the little bit of extra velocity you get with them never hurts either. It is work fireforming all that brass, but then you'll have the hard part out of the way, lol. Most of the people probably don't understand why the false shoulder, but I understand, and what goes into it. Gotta have the false shoulder to headspace off of. That's one nice and shiny barrel you got there, and with that length it should be a good launching pad to get you a bit more velocity. That's a heck of a telescope you have on the thing also, but definitely necessary for what you're doing. Oh and I'm sure lots of people would love to see some through the scope pics if you can get some through that scope. Let us know how she's shooting, I'm definitely curious to hear more.
P.S. I love the "human bean juice" smiley from Watchmen, it's a nice touch.

Nice, really nice. Everyone who contributed did a bang up job. And of course, there is plenty of envy here. Good luck with the brass aand test targets.
