    Default 2nd pistol

My wife just returned from the Sheriff's office to get her permit to carry, we currently own a Ruger SR9 and she has claimed it as her carry gun, she likes everything about it and is perfectly happy. The issue is that we have two permit holders and only 1 firearm, so while I wait/save/pray for the cash to pay for one for I might as well start window shopping and asking around as to what I should get. I want something just a tad smaller than the SR, but not .380 small. I'm thinking a Glock 26 to make the trips to ammu-nation easier, but a .357 magnum of moderate size aslo sounds appealing...Thoughts?

    SR9c.

Sticking to one "platform" means you can share more than ammo...........

Saying that, I'll say this. After getting your SR9c, run, don't walk, and get that .357 mag you were talking about........

Please, "permit" and "license" are interchangable for all intents and purposes. How about just offering advice that he asked for?

Personally, I'd go with a Glock. I have a 19, and i think I might want the 26 for myself. I'm not a fan of revolvers, though.

Funny... Cuz when i was sixteen, i could have swore that there was a few differences between my "permit" and my parent's "licenses".
The Beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

No difference between my AZ concealed weapon's permit and my PA LTCF.

Let's put this debate to bed already.
    Permit
1: a written warrant or license granted by one having authority <a gun permit>
OP, have you looked at the Kahr CM9?

Well, 9mm is certainly cheaper. Have you considered the MP9c? The Glock 26 is also a fine weapon.

I would go with the G26 or the SR9c. You would be happy with either one.

If you don't mind a 5 round capacity, the Ruger SP101 or an S&W model 60 work nicely. I am trying to like the Glock, really I am, but a steel .357 smells like victory.
