Default HK USP Elite most accurate polymer handgun?

I am liquidating a number of guns that are just sitting here either collecting dust, the smell of a safe, or just generally in the way so that I can primarily focus on 50 yard bullseye. I am looking for anything in the tupperware section that is more accurate than the HK USP Elite. Already have a number of 1911's that fit the bill, just need to know if I can do better than the HK. Just as good will not do. Has to be polymer. Has to be semi auto. Any info will be appreciated.

I would look for an HK P9S. I think that might be one of the only poly pistols that could give the USP Elite serious competition accuracy wise.

I was told by a couple of guys on TOS about the MK 23. I have never even held one. Anyone own one or have experience with one? Accurate enough for 50 yd. bullseye?

It might be, but for that kind of range, I'd look for a design with a fixed barrel, hence my thoughts for the P9S. If you could somehow McGuyver together a long barrel on a Walther P38, That might do the trick too.

Pending what environment I hear a lot about the HK accuracy but what I see is Glocks and 2011s STI like pistol being used and wining in the IPSPC area where speed and accuarcy is need at a cost don't matter results do arena.

I'm impressed will HKs out of box accuracy but it does not compete at the highest competition level. Maybe because the base is too expensive to moderify but no look at the STi/2011 pistols just as expensive as a base.

Of course accuracy based on a rubber washer/seal. I question how long that would last.

I already have a SA long slide that will scramble an egg at 50 yards. I have shot the STI long slide and it is no more accurate. Too many other 1911's in the house, as well. I want the ultimate polymer pistol as far as accuracy goes. The Elite I have has 800 rds and shows no signs of falling off, yet. Plus, they give you a number of replacement o-rings and they are cheap if you run out. It is as accurate as any 1911 I have and more than some. This is merely a bragging rights thing with a group of friends I shoot with and I want to be sure I have the gun (tupperware gun) to back up my bragging.

Glock 34 looks to be the consensus amoungst the shooters I am familiar with in practical matches.
