The main thing is to keep your wits about you at all times, accidents do happens at private ranges too, even ones that do not allow blacks or people from New York and New Jersey, the four basic rules of firearms still apply at private ranges so dont let your guard down there.
I once were at a private gun club shooting a pre ban Feather AT9 and were hit in the right shoulder by a ricochet 44 mag round fired by the idiot next to me.

my father in law is in visiting from georgia and he always likes to shoot the cool guns since my mother in law wont let him have any so we will be making a trek out friday morning if the weather isnt too bad.
