Question Sold my XD40SC; What to replace it with?

That was the 3rd XD I owned. Nothing wrong w/them, just looking for something else has my back up CC pistol.

Right now, I am looking at either a Glock 27 or a USP40 Compact. Shot my friend's USP45C & did surprisingly well with it. I thought it was going to be too big for my hands. Glad I was wrong. Problem w/the USP is finding one used at a decent price.

Whatever I buy must be compact. I carry IWB. Really looking for .40 S&W only as I consolidated to just .40 for my handguns outside of my LCP.

Maybe look at Taurus's 740. American Rifleman "Golden Bull's Eye" award for hand gun of the year.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

    Good evening Brother..

I like my Sig Sauer P239 in .40cal.
Pretty easy to conceal , even in a T- Shirt.

    Just a suggestion.

    Peace and God Bless.

If my H&K P30 were a chick, I'd marry it.

I occassionally carry my Glock 27 IWB, but it might not be the most comfortable gun to conceal depending on how big of a guy you are. If you aren't against something with a single stack magazine, I'd check out the Kahr CW40 or PM40 (depending on what price range you want to fall into).
Everything mentioned so far seems like a good option - I would definitely go to a shop and try to handle a few to see what is the best fit for you personally.

I'm a skinny guy so I don't really have issues trying to conceal.

A used USP is going to run me around $600 so not looking to go higher than that.
