FEG smc .380
I bought this .380 19 years ago and carried it for several years firing no more than 200 rounds through it. I am trying to track down some info so that I could put a price on it and put it up for sale. Any info or even some advice on a price would be greatly appreciated.

Re: FEG smc .380
Rep sent for a beautiful photo. That your photo?
Personally, I've seen the .380 version of the SMC priced anywhere from $175 to $250. I've seen them sell at $175, and gather dust in a display case at $250.
The .22LR version sells for $50 to $100 more, and the 9mm Mak version I've seen at $200 to $250.
Those things are a handful in 380 or 9mm Mak.

Re: FEG smc .380
Are those used prices? So maybe it's fair to ask 160 for mine? Thanks for the rep for a photo! I took that this morning on a chair outside.

FWIW last msrp was $239 and blue book lists it at $205 in 100%.

Re: FEG smc .380
Don't sell yourself short on that SMC - I've seen them SELL in v.good, used condition for $189 here in Eastern half of the state. I've been shooting a PA-63 (same gun except the -63 has an alloy frame and is lighter and is exclusively 9x17MAK) for about 10 years. When I want to feel good about my small pistol accuracy - that is THE one I take to the range. Ask for $200 - you can always go down, but you can never go up.
Good luck. (Nice pic - gave rep for it, also.)Jim Hauff H&R Collector In memory of my friends Bill Goforth and Jim Ritchie.

Thanks for all the responses!
I think I will take it to the range one more time before I make the decision.

You should, they're great little guns! I'd keep it, they are a value above the cash value.

Re: FEG smc .380
My girlfriend has taken interest in this .380 as a potential carry piece. However, racking the slide and the double action on this is difficult for her. Is this something that a gunsmith could clean up? Smooth the action, make it more user friendly? I am also wondering if the cost of such work would be justified by how much it could be improved? I suppose with only 200 rounds down the barrel it hasn't been broken in either.
