help find a 22 pistol

The Bersa 22's aren't bad. I picked up a barely used older all steel one on Gunbroker a few years back.

Why would you carry a NAA revolver on an empty chamber? The hammer is meant to rest on the notches between the holes in the cylinder, that way you never have the hammer resting on a live round. Load it up, set the hammer between rounds, and carry it full up.

Ruger SR22, my wife carries one as her EDC gun, I have one to use to demo suppressors. Great gun, never have had any problems with it, affordable.

I prefer the Beretta Bobcat 21A. The downside it's a bit pricey for a .22. I don't care for the NAA mini revolver. I had some experience with one many years ago. I could hit anything beyond 5 yards. ALthough now you can get them with a larger grip.

I have 6 Jennings JA-22. Less than $300 in all of them.
ALL shoot very well, never jam, and they are small.
4 are chrome finish. I gave a new Jiminez to my son in law, too.
for junk pistols, they have been fantastic. I love shooting them. I also have 3 ea mags.
I put pink grips on one last year and gave it as a xmas present to a lady I know. She loved it, and carries it evey where. At least she is carrying something, better than not carrying.
So now only have 6 left, all near mint, and I keep one in most rooms, and both cars for emergencies.
I can tell you this, when someone says a 22 will just make them mad, ask them to stand 6-8 feet away and take one for the team. More humans have been killed by 22's than any other cartridge, world wide.
I have 48 fire arms including long guns. 1/3 are 22's.
