I am confident that with some caution I can tig it together without it being a problem. Guns get welded on quite often. An experienced welder should have no problem doing it well I just think silicone is a shame on such a beautiful build. I can only hope mine comes out close to as nice as yours.

I agree welding it would turn out much better if you could pull it off. One day I might pursue a better solution but it works for now. I built this gun to be a shooter.

Just shot this hand cannon for the first time yesterday. Holy shit! This thing throws a serious fireball! Recoil wasn't bad with two hands, it was just enough to make me giggle but not so much to make it unpleasant. One handed shooting is a little uncomfortable because the trigger guard hits your middle finger knuckle. That might be remedied by some sort of rubber cushion on the rear of the trigger guard.

Number 4 buckshot spreads to about two feet in diameter at seven yards. The pattern is good with an even spread and not a "donut" shape. It pretty much annihilated a standard silhouette target with one shot.

Needless to say I'm pretty happy with it!

Took it out a couple more times. One friend almost knocked his teeth out the first time firing it. It definitely turns heads at the range, actually the RSO's seemed more interested in it than anyone else. The best part was yesterday when I took it out to the skeet range. I can hit hand-thrown clays fairly consistently, believe it or not. I still want to take this to Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays just for shits and giggles.

Seriously. Once my stamp gets back I would be all for a day at lehigh valley. I was thinking the same thing about going up there with mine.
