What's the lightest AR trigger assembly you can get?
Hello:
I am looking for some suggestions on a trigger job and/or drop-in trigger assembly for an AR platform. I am looking for no more than a 2-lbs pull. Currently, my AR has 7-9 lbs of pull, and that's just too much for my liking. I'm coming up from years of shooting smooth Ruger 10/22's with 2lbs match trigger (max) and I need something lighter.
Doesn't have to be "Drop-in" but it at least has to be something my gunsmith can do if it's a kit.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Timney and Geissle are the ones most people recommend.

Are you using it for precision target shooting only?
A 2lb pull on any kind of home defense/range gun is dangerous.
If its for target/match shooting, Geisselle 2 stage triggers are highly regarded, but I dont even know if they have a 2lb pull
Timney has nice single stage drop in triggers but again I dont think they go to 2lbs

geisselle is by far the lightest i know of. second stage pull can be as light as 4 oz.. there are several models available with of course varying 1st and 2nd stage pull weights. not inexspensive but come with a great rep.
