Default 4" .357 Revolver Stainless Steel

Seems to be next on my buy list. Recommendations? Thoughts? Comments?

Check out the Taurus Model 627 Tracker in satin stainless.
Nice gun (had mine for 10 years or more with no problems).

Smith & Wesson 686. I have one and love it:

GP100. Built like a bank vault, and my wife says it looks "meaner" than the Smith, which means chicks dig it

    Good Morning!

I'm an awfully big fan of Ruger's GP100. It was my first handgun and has served me well. Sturdy as hell, accurate, handsome and not nearly as expensive as a comparable Smith or Colt.

LOL! My wife claims the GP100 as "her" gun, I believe mainly due to looks!

    DOH! I misread title. I'd suggest earlier model 66, like a 66-1.

If money is no object, get a Freedom Arms SA unit. The barrel is 4.75 inches, but close enough. These things are a work of art, and they hold their value.

If you insist on DA, get yourself a pre-lock S&W, preferably an older one with the pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. Any model will do, they all kick ass.

The Ruger GP is a great gun as well, but doesn't have as nice a trigger as most S&W's I've handled or shot.

I wouldn't even consider any other options.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

Well since this topic has taken off in the direction
of everyone giving their opinions on a good revolver
Here's Mine! Taurus has a great reputation for
producing great relvovers. That they can do.
