A few OC questions

Well since I will hopefully receiving my PA LTCF in about another week I have a few questions that hopefully most of you can quickly answer, most for verification purposes:

- Can I OC/CC in Bank or place that serves alcoholic beverages so much as long as I dont touch the alcohol?

- When OC'ing is it legal to have a round chambered and ready to fire?

- Assuming I understand what i've read, with my license I can carry anywhere in the state, minus Courthouses, School zones, and State Forests/Parks?

Yes you can legally do that you can even drink as long as you stay under 0.08 i wont have more than 1 beer per 1 hour if i am carrying Basically just like DUI rules if your over the legal limit to drive a car you shouldn't have a weapon

Yes perfectly legal

sure can state parks are a grey and usually at the discretion of the rangers i am not 100% on the parks though. Im sure someone will be along to answer that

Actually, there's no legal limit like there is for driving. I would expect to get attention if you are drinking heavily and carrying a loaded handgun visible to all. I also think an intoxicated state would make you very succeptable to a gun grab.

Yeah that true Marc but i didnt wanna tell the guy to get shit faced while in the bar LMAO If some one had to use there firearm in self defense the DA would have a field day because the person was over the legal standard for being "drunk"

Personally when im over the legal limit you cant tell. 0.08 is not hard to get up to and over

Here is the regulation on firearms in casinos.

Its off-limits unless you get approval after having written them and requesting such. I am curious though as to who they were actually give approval if requested. It does look like they may consider LTCF folks, but until you get approval - it's off limits. ..Sorta like the State Park regulation.

§ 465a.13. Possession of deadly weapons within a licensed facility.
(a) Individuals, including security department personnel, are prohibited from possessing any deadly weapon as defined in 18 Pa.C.S. § 2301 (relating to definitions) within a licensed facility without the express written approval of the Board.
(b) The prohibition in subsection (a) does not apply to:
(1) Pennsylvania State Police assigned to its Gaming Enforcement Office.
(2) An on-duty officer or agent of any local, State or Federal law enforcement agency when the officer or agent is acting in an official capacity.
(c) To obtain approval for the possession of a deadly weapon within a licensed facility, an individual shall be required to submit a written request to the Board which includes:
(1) An explanation of the compelling need for the possession of the weapon within the licensed facility.
(2) If the request is for possession of a firearm as defined in 18 Pa.C.S. § 6105 (relating to persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms), proof that the individual holds a valid license to possess the firearm.
(d) A slot machine licensee shall post in a conspicuous location at each entrance to the licensed facility signs that may be easily read stating the following:
The possession of a deadly weapon by any person within this licensed facility without the express written permission of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is prohibited

I hope this isn't a total thread hijack but have we already been through how the heck they get away with that? Some administrative agency can trump state law and the PA constitution?

In terms of enforcement, what would the penalties be? I don't have a casino license and far as I know, that's the extent of the board's jurisdiction. What a bunch of jackasses. You can see Rendell's fingerprints all over it.
