Pittsburgh Handgun Exchange (PHH) closed?

I live on the eastern side of the state, but my wife is from the South Hills, so we're out there a lot. I had PHH do some work for me and I was very happy with the quality and the price. I called his shop from here and got a "disconnected" message. I figured someone out in Pgh would know what the deal was..

are you talking about the one in Westview? If so He closed down acouple years ago

Sorry, I don't know the neighborhood names very well. The address is (was) 1330 Center Ave. He did some quality repairs on a Gold Cup and a Python that I would have been reluctant to bring to a shop that didn't come so highly recommended. Any additional news as to whether his crew set up somewhere nearby?

Yea thats the one, I bought a couple hand guns off of him and had him do some minor work for me as well. I remember the borough of west view giving him a hard time about occupancy permit, Not sure if that was the reason he closed but As far as I know he didnt open up another shop. If I hear anything ill let you know and you do the same.

I live right down the road, and I'm pretty sure they have been closed for a while.
