    Default Pop guns at Cabelas

Am I just wound too tight, or does anybody else want to grab those bloody pop guns out of the kids' hands and whack the adult that bought it for them upside the head with it ?

Your not alone but the pop gun isn't the problem its the adult that has no controll over the child that as you say needs to be hit in the head with them, my fiancee works there and she tries to hide them as much as possible.

I hate hearing those fucking things with those PITA, ADD rug rats. I want to hit their autistic parents, rather than the kid.

They do tend to drive a person to want to stomp on them, the pop-guns that is.

My God, I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Thank you all!! The damned popguns should be sealed in a wrapper; problem solved, let the little shits annoy Mommy and Daddy in the car.

I was there over the weekend and saw one of those guns was laying inside of the safari exhibit on the ground - i think that the lions finally got pissed off to the point that they took matters into their own paws.

On a related note. It kills me when I see kids pointing those f@#k'n things at people, or pretending they're gang banger’s shooting people.

I had cap guns and crap as a kid, but if I misbehaved in a store or pointed one of my guns at someone....well...lets just say the gun would be gone and I wouldn't be sitting for a while.

Guns are guns in my house. We have one toy rifle and we use it for training and practice. It is never acceptable to point a gun at a person. Not even a water gun. I get accused of being too strict with my kids on this (2 and 6), but with the guns I have, I feel there can be no confusion about where the muzzle can be pointed.

If my kid ever picked up any merchandise in a store without asking, he'd know about it...

I should add, that my 6 year old shoots and has better muzzle discipline than many guys I see at the range.

yeah, i think you should relax on the cap gun and water pistol thing... thats what trere for, blasting people. i did it when i was a kid. never shot anybody with a bb gun or real gun. its all in the way the parent raises the kid... just my .02 no offense..
