OC in Montgomery County
I recently got my LCTF, and have openly carried just about everywhere this week with the exception of in my employer's building as company policy prohibits weapons.
My experience so far has been completely uneventful.
7-11 at Easton & Fitzwatertown, several Wawas on 611, wine & spirits in willow grove, best buy, wawa in Roslyn, 2 bike rides around the area, and not a word said by anyone. Had police behind me in line at wawa and again not a word.
I get the occasional awkward glance, but aside from that not a thing. 90% of people don't even seem to notice.
I've also gotten two coworkers very interested in getting a LTCF....Gave them both fliers found on this site and directed them here for more info :-)

Re: OC in Montgomery County
Additional experiences to come soon, as I travel throughout southeast Pa quite a bit, to include Philly. Have not open carried there yet but will this weekend, and I will keep all informed.

Re: OC in Montgomery County
I do not recommend you open carry without some measure of retention training. Also, make sure your situational awareness is in tip-top shape - know what is going on around you at all times, even if you feel perfectly safe.
In Philadelphia, especially.
Otherwise, welcome to the world of OC! Very few people ever notice, and those who who predominantly don't care. Very, very few people mention it to you (or the police, lol)Junior

Re: OC in Montgomery County
Viper,
I haven't taken any classes specifically on retention. However, I am a former infantryman with quite a bit of combat experience, so my situational awareness is quite up to par. Guerilla war is no joke
I also carry using a Blackhawk SERPA holster; I am quite fond of the locking system.
Yesterday I actually ran into another OCer in Philly. Go figure. After reading a bunch of threads with comments about how people have never seen someone OC in Philadelphia, my very first time I run into another one.
This was at a gas station right off the Girard exit of I-95
