    Default S&W 908s - Re-assembaly question

So I recently purchased a S&W 908s 9mm. It fires dead on and I love it. During my recent cleaning, when removing the slide, I didn't compensate for the slide spring pressure and the slide kind of flung off. The problem is, a little plastic piece came off of the gun and I do not know where this goes. Its purpose, it seems, is to hold the slidestop in place - right now it just kind of sits in its hole, and if the slide is held at the right place, the slidestop will just fall out (as opposed to having to push the slidestop pin pretty hard).

The piece looks like a rolling pin, a cylinder where the two ends are smaller in diameter than the rest. There are also two very tiny circles that say "T" and "3". Can someone please help me put this back where it belongs?

    Thanks!

Try posting up some pictures. Also check around online for a schematic for this part you describe.

I actually figured this out. It sticks out of the slide spring guide, in a little hole. Very phallic.

    Anyway, thanks guys!
