Thumbs up Re: glock 30 sf

have one , it is one of many glocks i own. i find it very comfortable and accurate to shoot. it can be a little heavy to use as a carry piece but that,s the price for a large bore pistol. i carry mine in a galco sob holster (small of the back). i say you can,t go wrong with a glock especially a .45.

I use one as my primary carry weapon. Shooting it has always been easy on my hands and I'm no beefy guy, but .45 recoil has never been an issue for me.

Also used to carry Taurus PT945 and the 1st subcompact they had (can't remember the name). Have a 1911 also. I find the 30 to be as easy to manage as any.

The only thing you might want to consider is the grip length. It is kind of short if you have football player hands.

Also this gun has never malfunctioned for me, no matter what I put in it.

Thanks for the input my 27 has a comfortable grip with the pinky ext.i know the 30 must have a thicker grip but the sf is said to have the trigger a little closer for better trigger reach.. the gun range i to go doesnt have a 30 to rent ..

I too have a few Glocks and will attest that the G30sf is my favorite yet, maybe a little thick but the most accurate and probably the most fun. I had a G27 with the pinkie extension as well and thats the gun I sold to buy my 30sf. If your looking to add to your colection, you won't go wrong....

Why would the 30 have less recoil?
I'll vote for Romney when he promises not to run in 2016.

Maybe it could also be because its a heavier gun. Dont really know why it would have less recoil ..

the change between a std. 30 and a slim frame is not much. according to glock the difference is 2 mm of reach distance to the trigger. on a same note the changes on the backstrap of the gen. 4 models is also 2mm between strap covers.
