Re: Must be the lonliest county
I finally got around to building my own range. I need to build more pistol targets, but this is a start.

Re: Must be the lonliest county
Live in Bradford and am always looking for an excuse to shoot. I'm new to this forum, have been spending most of my time on xdtalk and don't belong to any organized shooting clubs in the area.

Re: Must be the lonliest county
NW PA is the coldest, snowiest corner of the state and Bradford is consistently the coldest location on the news reports day after day, month after month.
Welcome to freedom, but I woulda picked a more warmer place myself, me.American by BIRTH, Infidel by CHOICE

Re: Must be the lonliest county
Aw, you're not so lonely. According to this site, of the 67 counties in PA, 16 counties have less population than Mckean. You're definitely in the bottom third, but the title of "loneliest county" is actually neighboring Cameron with a population fewer than 5K. Persons per square mile may be a truer indicator of "most lonely," but that would require more research than I'm willing to do!

Re: Must be the lonliest county
If I recall, there are two gun clubs just out of town Bradford. Go west on Rt 770, south of town.
Many folks just find a clearing with a hill for a backstop and have at it.... Just don't head north you are dangerously close to that nanny state of NY.Marty near God's Country. Making good people defenseless doesn’t make bad people harmless.
