Default That Pet Place not OC Friendly(UPDATE) OC FRIENDLY

That Fish Place, That Pet Place in Lancaster has taken a no firearms policy in their store. While Oc'ing in there I was asked to leave. After emails to their Customer service I have been adviced that it is a "family" place and they do not want the children to be frightened. My follow up email adviced them that I carry all the time in places like walmart and restaurants and do not see kids running away frightned. I also told them that most places take the stance that since it is state legal that it is legal in their store and they should reconsider their policy.

I think it would be a great help if everyone could sent them a polite email, this is the email adress. amcclune@thatpetplace.com

UPDATE: This morning 7/25 I recieved and email from That Fish Place, it did not have a signature and when I responded to thank them the email came back as undeliverable. This is the email and they seem to have changed policy. I thank everyone that took the time to send emails to them, we have converted another place to OC friendly.

That Fish Place-That Pet Place recognizes and respects the views of all of our customers. After consideration, we have determined that our policies should follow that of local and state firearms laws and statutes. The State of Pennsylvania has determined the scope of this law and its enforcement and we will comply with that law as it is written.

Hell, if you were going all the way to Lancaster, you should have gone to Pet Smart. The manager of that store is a poster here, and has already invited OCers openly on the forum!
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I just stop there because I go to an auction in lancaster, I am not familiar with lancaster but I will try to find that petsmart.

I think if everyone sends an email me might have a shot at turning this place OC friendly

The store, they only have one store so they do not have a corporate office. That is why I think if enough people send emails and the store sees that it will be loosing money in a poor economy they might reconsider their policy

Ha I always thought they had more stores for some reason. I'll be sending them an email here shortly.

    Thank you
So, do they have any signage to the fact that they are anti-gun?

Did they tell you you can't CARRY there or did they tell you not to OPEN CARRY?
