    Default Dan Wesson Heritage, or Similar 1911s

    Ok, I'm finally going to buy one. It's been a long time coming. I don't want to destroy my bank account, but I certainly don't want to half ass it either. I saw this tonight;

    Full size, stainless, Novak style sights, everything I want. Any reason not to buy it? Or should I just save my pennies and get a TRP? Dammit... Maybe I'll just buy an RIA and a couple cases of ammo...

    Shoot it and carry it. I don't have safe queens.

    Ps, I want your Springfield. Actually there are a few midrange SA models I'd love to have, but NO ONE HAS THEM IN STOCK, EVER!

    I heard that... that is why in the beginng i was so against paying 1k for a pistol but learned there is something in a higher quaility pistol I bought a pistol on friday and as of today have put over 500rds thru it and shot two matches

    as for my Springfield , I was never been a fan of bitone or but she pulls it off. Just picked up Para doble stack in Regal finish another dead sexy pistol with little contrast in colour.

    Well, if you decide you need some cash I'll be willing to take it off your hands.

    Congrats - great pistol and Dan Wesson has great customer service too. Bought a 2009 CBOB a couple months before CZ increased their prices. I held (and fondled) an Ed Brown Kobra Carry a week before I purchased the Dan Wesson and could not believe there was a $1300.00 difference in price. Smartest gun purchase I ever made - for once I felt like I got more than I paid for. Fit and finish was incredible and I could not be happier with the performance of the CBOB - even sent it away to get Hard Hat finish applied by Dave Serverns https://severnscustom.com/Hard_Hat_Treatment.html. I carry it alot.

    I'll see if I can get some pictures up later tonite.
