Verdict is in! I will go pick up my license tomorrow afternoon....and all said in done in less than 30 days...I applied on the 18th of July and the letter is dated 8/16...not too bad!

Doesn't sound like a 302. Any child can enter mental health services, or refuse mental health services at the age of 14. The law got changed some years ago to allow a parent to get a court order to force a child between the ages of 14 and 18 into services.

I know because my mother was the driving force behind the law because of my brother. She went as far as committing him in Ohio where the age limit is 18, but not a lot of parents knew about that, she her and Charlie Currie got the law changed. Then he went to SAMHSA and now I have no clue where he is... lol

If it was a 302, you wouldn't have gotten a gun let alone your LTCF, so you're good to go...

The state either approves you or denies you, and the girl is right, She doesn't do the back ground checks .
