The new Ruger SR1911 looks good! I think I'm gonna adopt one!

JoeKing! I own/have owned some Rugers, and I love them, especially their stainless revolvers. I would love to get this 1911.

Are you sure the $599 price is not a typo? Seems too good to be true.

I have not yet seen or fondled one. I think I overheard a rumor that one was spotted at A&S in Youngwood, but can't verify truth or price.

Where did you get the $589 quote?

It looks good without the front cocking serrations.

I have heard nothing but good and positive word of mouth news about Bee's in Saltsburg. I have never made it out there yet, hope to make the drive soon. A co-worker just got a great deal on a S&W M&P 9mm from there.

He does not even live in the area, but stops in there often since it is on the route he drives to his camp. Said he gives Bee's more business than any shops in his area closer to Pittsburgh.

From what I have read and the videos I have watched, nothing but great reviews.

In other forums I have read about a couple of things people have changed but overall the satisfaction is there.

I am going to get one when my local shop has one in stock again.

This will be my first 1911 and I think I am not making a poor decision.
