Re: american tactial
Can you be more specific? The Beretta 92 knockoff? The CZ? The HiPower? I saw the 92 in CDNN's flyer for $299. That's an absurdly low price for that gun... and based on what I've read on my post about ATI and elsewhere these guys have an old Beretta factory in Turkey. The Beretta 92 is > $600 new.
I'm seriously thinking about getting one of the 84/85 .380 knockoffs for plinking. It has to start someplace... It has to start sometime...

Re: american tactial
If you are looking at the one listed on Penns Woods, for the price the guy is asking, I would go with one of the Beretta 92 clones instead. You should be able to find one local to you brand new for around $350.
If you really like the rail and the look of the CS9, they can be had for around $350 new as well, I'd keep that in mind when looking at a used one.
As for reliability, from what I've read, the Turkish made ATI guns are made on factory tooling aquired from the companies that made the original models and there seems to be very little problems with them. A local dealer was selling the 92 clones and I got to fire one, worked just fine and he says he has had no complaints of the dozen he has sold.

Re: american tactial
That particular gun never impressed me, and the Beretta copy isn't bad, but American Tactical does make a nice line of 1911's that I would say to be the equal of Armscor or Citadel - FX45

I have handled them, but haven't had the chance to fire one- It felt very well put together with a clean trigger break and good frame to slide fitment.
