Question Experience at the Kutztown Folk Festival?

My wife and I want to go to the Kutztown Folk Festival before it closes up on Sunday, but we haven't been able to locate any information about a weapons policy either for the festival itself or the fairgrounds.

Anyone had any experience open carrying at any events held on the Fairgrounds? I'd prefer to not have to go through the hassle of parking and walking into the grounds only to find out I have to go back and lock my firearm up.

I also hear tales of the legendary quality of the lemonade at the Festival. Do these tales speak true? I eagerly await replies... ¬_¬

My wife and I were there last Saturday. There was a sign at the gate we entered that said no weapons. We also did see some LEOs inside the grounds.

The lemonade and food was quite good however.

I snapped a picture of the sign. It says "No animals left in vehicles No weapons allowed By Order of Kutztown Police"

I think that sign is at the Oak Street(not sure of exact name) gate. I don't know if any other gates have signs. I do not have any experience carrying around the festival.

Since when can the police regulate where you can and cannot carry?
