Default The range gets me in trouble all the time

So I take my son shooting at the local indoor range this morning and we have a great time together, blast off a couple hundred rounds from the AR, 100 rounds down the tube of my FN .45 and countless rounds of .22 from the Ruger mkIII. So whats the problem you might ask? Well I'm standing at the counter waiting to check in and of course there is boo koo new and used hand guns staring at me all wanting to go home with me. One in particular is in the case doing cartwheels that really catches my eye, a Wilson Combat professional that is lnib with a very low round count for about 2600 bucks, I fondle and drool all over it.She feels totally awsome in my hand.I want it for a range and carry gun. Now the question is should I or should I not. Oh what to do?

    $2600 . . . hell no
IMHO The Sig 1911 C3 is just as good for <$1000
Now I know a place that has a Les Baer for around $1500

Hey, if you want it, go for it. You only pass through here once. But, personally, with that kind of money in hand, I'd probably buy 3 other, mighty fine 1911's. Either way, get some cool guns! :-)

Couldn't you just get a nice hi-point and a hooker for about $13.73?

If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

And if you run out of ammo you can throw the Hi-Point at the attacker and knock him out.

where were you shooting at? if you have the money go for it but i don't think i'd use a 2600 dollar 1911 as a carry gun. if you have the money and it's what you want buy it.

I have the sig 1911 and love it, but, and I don't know why but that wilson is just a beautiful gun that I would love to add to the collection that will eventually be passed on to my kids. As wellcraft said a 2600.00 carry gun is crazy and I would have to agree.
I just get a hard on when I see these beauties. Now back to reality I'm in the market for a nice carry gun. I have a glock 23 that I use now, the sig 1911 and my fn .45 are too big for concealed carry for me. There is nothing wrong with the glock it's just that I have the itch for a new carry piece.
