Kahr purchased Magnum Reasearch in June 2010.

They appear to be similar to the current Baby Eagles. I'm sure the Kahr engineers added their improvements.

KAHR arms is kicking some ass...When I won my Tommy gun at the Castle Shannon gun bash a few years ago...I found out KAHR owns them as well....

Ok, ok, stop everything. The MR9 and MR40 are the Walther P99 copies Magnum Research has been making. Not Kahr-like, in anyway...

I don't own a Kahr, yet. But it seems they are trying to rapidly expand there market share by buying up other smaller manufactures vs. developing a new weapon themselves. Hopefully it works out well for them.

After seeing companies do this in the past it usually doesn't work out well. They usually end up putting out a lot of junk products. I always figured its better to make a small amount of very very good products than to make a lot of half assed products.
