Default What's Better Than a Ruger MKIII?

A Ruger MKII? Well, I'm not sure yet, as I haven't fired it. I have a MKIII 22/45 w/Bull Barrell and adjustable sights, and it's amazing. But, I saw this MKII in need of a home today, at Tanner's, and had to take it. I cleaned it, and it appears to have been well cared for. Fixed sights on this one, but I suspect it'll be a great shooter as well.

I picked up its stainless brother at Tanner's a while back. Way too much fun!

They really are. Definitely, more fun per dollar than most any other activity out there.

What is better than a Ruger Mk. III? A S&W 617 in Stainless with good sights...

Indeed, and the Model 41 ain't no slouch either! Yep, I certainly didn't qualify my question, and I did ask!

Thumbs up Re: What's Better Than a Ruger MKIII?

As a FELLOW Mk.III 22/45 bull bbl. owner, I've always heard the Mk.II's were better. I think you have a fine pair there now, and a good eye for a good deal today!

Could not agree more on the Mk II. I have two of the 5.5" bull barreled version, one stainless, one blue, and a few others including an M41 and a model 17. All are great fun, though one of these days, maybe a Pardini or Hammerli when I win the lottery! Dave_n
