    Default American Classic II 1911

Have been told these are really good 1911's. Has anyone owned one or does own one? What are your thoughts on it? Thanks

They are awesome a lot of features for the money.

One of the best guns on the market for your money. The performance and fit is second to none and is a personal favorite. How many would you like?

I had hard that last weekend. I will be checking them out. I seem to be stuck on 1911's.

Bought one for my woman, she loves it. Its a nice gun and is almost as nice as my Kimber Stainless Classic. Same feel in hand the only real difference other than the American Classic being blued is the sights. The knock off high end sights aren't quite as nice as the Kimbers.

Very nice gun. I had one, and traded it for something else (who can remember?). I consider it to be very much like the RIA, though I believe Metroarms makes the AC II, as opposed to Armscor. At the price they sell for, especially if you can find one used, you can't go wrong.

I have a Firestorm DLX, which is the same gun made for another company. My boyfriend carries it, and likes it better than my Springfield Armory 1911A1. He trusts it.

I have one and it is my everyday carry. Love everything there is about this gun never any issues with it and trust it with my life. With that said don't take my word for it being the best because I'm sure there are better. But for a 400 dollar 1911 I really don't think it can be beat.

I would love to find one used. So I will start my search for a used one or new next week. Can't wait to get one.

I paid $469 for mine new. I've seen them used for < $400.

    Then again, there's this one:

    It's a beauty.
