    Default Shooting range?

I recently moved to Luzerne County from Gettysburg. Down there I was a member of the McSherrystown fish & game. I'm looking to find a good shooting range in the area near Warrior Run/Sugar Notch/Nanticoke. Definitely need to be a rifle and pistol range. Anyone know of any?

The PA Game Commission runs some public ranges, however they are no longer "free", meaning you will need either a current hunting license or a range permit.

The closest ranges out near Red Rock (off Rt 118), outside of Dupont (off Suscon Rd), out near Gouldsboro (off Rt 423) and out past Hazelton (off Rt 93).

There are very few "private" ranges in the area. Some, but not many.

Black Creek Sportsman's Club is in Rock Glen. It is probably about 30 miles from you. They are taking members.

No restriction on calibers, class 3 friendly. Can shoot morning to dusk 7 days a week. New trap house just finished.

I was thinking it looked good as well but from the Pittston Area it is a little bit of a haul if you want to be an active member. Range looks great though.

Unfortunately we do not have many options.
