Default need help from lehigh SIG owners

Are there any P226 owners in the lehigh area that would be willing to let me try the P226?
I currently have an M&P in .40 and 357sig, and I'm wanting to try the P226 in either of those calibers. I'll supply ammo if it's issue, I'm not looking to put a 1000 rounds down range, I simply want to see how the gun "fits" when shooting, I'll even supply a post range beer or two

    I got a P229 in 9mm. My dad has a P226 with a beaver tail but that's also in 9mm.

You're asking if anyone has one particular gun, in a relatively small area. I prefer 9mm solely because of the cost of ammo. I'm sure someone in the Lehigh Valley is on this forum with a 226 in 40 or 357, but the chance of them seeing this post and be willing to let you try it are fairly slim if you want my honest opinion.

Knew it was a long <ahem> shot, but figured it was worth a stab.
Just not sure about dropping a grand on a pistol that I've only been able to hold, not actually fire.
I know the guns are built well, just don't want to find myself with a pistol I don't enjoy shooting.

A P226 9mm is going to hold the same way as a .40. The lowers are the same if the same series. Now you have to look at that as well, are you looking at last year's model, and E2 or a new Model...
