Default Glock 19 or Sig P250

I am looking to by my first handgun here in the next month and i have narrwed it down between the Glock 19 and Sig P250.
I think I am leaning a little towards the Glock.
    Any suggestions?

Earlier this month, I purchased a Gen 4 Glock 19. I've shot 225 rounds with no issues. Very solid and accurate weapon. I'm happy

Hi, you have a hard choice to make, but unless you handle and shoot both of these pistols, you might question your decision later on. Find a Gun Shop/Shooting Range that has these pistols for rent, or frriends that will alllow you to use their pistols. The Glock and the Sig are equal in performance and reliability. The Sig is more costly, but the major decision lies with the pistol that feels right in your hands. Good Luck

G19. Sigs, especially the 250 are highly questionable right now.

Remember as you are shopping, are you buying the gun because it feels good to hold or are you buying it to shoot well?

As much as I like Sig's, I think the G19 is a better gun than the Sig 250.

All the top instructors are shooting 9mm glocks. That says lot right there.

And you have readily available parts and accessories. The glock will be cheaper to own.

if your looking to save dough why not a used glock? i own a sig 250 compact and would recommend it . i have around 500 flawless rounds through it. mixed bag of rem/umc, lawman and sellior bellot (sp?). i like its ergonomics and for me the sig controls are a better fit. i have never owned or shot a glock but i do understand they are fine guns and dont think you could go wrong either way.

i watched some reviews of the sig and there were issues pointed out regarding the barrle fit and wear on it. i have not experienced any of that i did not clean it until after my second trip out with it and when i did i inspected all the parts close and found all to be good.

it ran very clean also. my patches were pretty clean when run through the barrel from the get go and the rest of the gun was the same way. mags drop out like butter. i also like the convertibility of it. i bought my 250 new in box from a private seller from this forum . i got a good deal or i would have looked at used.

check our foe sale adds. think i seen a couple glocks for sale here.
