Re: 5.56 and 40S&W
That was some bad math on my part, forgive me. For some reason I thought you had said $15 a thousand.
I was determined to shoot all brass but the $100 difference between brass and wolf for a 1000 is just too tempting. It allows me to shoot more often and save some money. I figure even if I need to buy a new bcg after a few thousand rounds. I've saved about $300-400, figure I have to replace the ejector and/or whole bcg after 3-4k rounds.
I don't reload .223 yet but I have a good supply of brass still which I pick up when I see someone giving it up. I have a supply of brass cased ammo that I'm saving for a carbine class some day down the road.
Wrote a bit to answer your question but you get the gist. I may still be interested in an order, albeit small.

Re: 5.56 and 40S&W
I'd be in for 1,000 of each, 40sw and 5.56 if the timing was right and the price was right. Unfortunately I too am across the state in SE. Put some more details on who the potential seller will be and PM me when it comes time for ordering.

Re: 5.56 and 40S&W
Dont know if this ever happened but if anyone is still looking. I recently set up a dealer account with various companies. Minimum order is $550 and I beleive they will ship free. I think think there is a hazardous mat fee, but they are $25 if there is one. These prices are approximate give or take. I do a very small mark up, but will consider price matching within reason and you need to either pick it up from me in delaware or I am willing to meet people in the chadds ford area need targetmaster on friday which is my shooting day.
40 s&w
REMemington L40SW4A UMC 40S MEGA 165MC 250rounds $82
HORNady 91368 40S 180 PD 20 rounds $13.50
INDEPENDENCE 5258 40SW 180 FMJ 50 $13.65 ( good target load)
other brands and hollow points available They dont carry S&B currently
Federal 223 Remington 55 Grain Metal Case Boat-Tail $5.75 per box of 20 min of 500 rounds.
Also I can get mountain house at decent prices ( as good as anyone else plus ill ship that for free and take paypal) for your survivalists out there.
