Re: Monroeville Gun Show - Showmasters
Kept my promise to myself and stayed home, helped my wife manage the garage sale. Sold a mess of no-longer-needed college stuff, housewares, bedding, old tools, home decorations, a parrot cage, and whatnot. Eyeballed some not-hard-on-the-eyes females from late teens to middle age, too. Chatted up a guy that came to inspect the jewelry and brought his own little portable scale. There were a few karat-gold chains that were damaged and some earrings, and the guy offered $35 and told my daughter what a great deal that was. She looked him in the eye and whipped out her HTC Thunderbolt and got onto some site that gave gold prices based on weight by 10, 14 karats, etc., based on the daily gold market price. By her figures, the market value of the stuff was $162. She settled with the guy for an even $100. Proud of her.

Re: Monroeville Gun Show - Showmasters
After reading the reviews about this show I was a little discouraged, but I went today and was pretty impressed. Granted I've been to just a few shows, I feel there was a decent amount of guns and gun related items. Found myself a nice mosin and tin of ammo for 180. Would definitely recommend a visit to the show

Never again. Absolute waste of time. More junk than anything worth while.

Last time I went I got a bunch of magazines for a great price, but that being it I did not go this time. I'm glad I didn't. I visited Security and Military Depot, bought a Winchester SXP Defender and Saiga '74. I regret only that I wasn't able to buy more.

Only citizens are required to follow this no loaded firearm rule. LEO are always exempt, so no worries, right?
Enjoy the shows.-Remember the Constitution-

This was my first gun show and I enjoyed it. I got a Remington 870 a rear sight for my AR-15, new boots and a mess of ammo.
