    Default Chester County gunsmith

I can recommend Paul Eichenberg in one of the Bradfords in Chester County off of 322. Graduate of Pittsburgh School of Gunsmithing, custom work, wood and metal, 40 years experience, expert witness in State and Federal Courts. Excellent work, his workload is backed up, but will do his best to deliver in a timely fashion.

I believe he is in the phone book, call Mon.-Thurs after 3:30 PM. 610-269-0870.

This post came at a good time as I am looking for a gunsmith in Chester County. Hopefully I can get some of his time this week.

    Thanks.

    J.D. Beard in Pottstown

45 min from west chester. 202 to 422. just took a rifle there the other day. the guy is real nice and does AMAZING custom work

ETA: was NOT impressed with his work on my rifle AT ALL. the mounts were canted, the scope rings too high, and the chamber scuffed by his threader

Any idea of how long the back up might be?

OK strecher. I really do not know, but I learned a long time ago that when a gunsmith tells you a few weeks, don't believe him. Paul is a good friend of mine, but he is backed up. That is not to say, that if you make it clear to him that the gun must be done in a timely fashion, he will either finish the work in an agreed upon time, or he will advise you to take the weapon to another smith. Of course, you understand that if the gun needs parts, the time discussed may not be possible being that a smith has no control over the acquisition of such parts.

Be that it may, Paul is honest and talented and your gun will be returned in better condition than when you turned it over. I have used him for 40 years.

C45man, a good quality gunsmith is hard to find.
Dealing with him for 40 years says something to. Thanks for the lead
    I'll give Paul a shout.
