Difference between PAFOA Donation and Forum Subscription?

My forum subscription expired and of course I couldn't remember where I actually paid that subscription. So, while searching, I found the PAFAO donation page and made a donation...at some point expecting the Thank You email, a Silver Subscription, and access to the private forum. So far, I've gotten none of these.

Are the PAFAO donation and the Forum Subscriptions different items? I'm guessing yes and I probably used the inccorect venue for what I wanted to accomplish.

Not a big deal, just curious.
