Default franks, aka double tap on blakiston st.

just wanted to say i have been to this place twice in a month. think i am going to join for 120 the year. its 20 to shoot as a non member. all day. also its permissible to bring ones own ammo. i had the op to run into two complete sets of employee's/staff. all of them very cool. btw for 9 and 40 his ammo is about a buck over the big stores ,unless its on sale or bought in bulk.

on another note, any in philly feel free to put me on a friend list. so we could send info direct.

I visited there once a few months ago. All went well and I was the only one using the range until a few guys came in just as I was cleaning up.

was at franks today. as always a good time at a great range.

renewed today , memberships that let you bring your own ammo are 150 i think. price went up this year a few ( 20 ) bucks.

new guy at the counter, i think his name was jerry, i think! seems to have been in the game awhile and was cool as could be first time i met him.. nice enough. the regular/current staff was awesome as usual. the guy /kid ( to me ) jimmy is a solid dude and always helpful.

clued me to some great training tips and hung out at the fireing line working out some issues with a glock mag that was very informative for me, as i have very little glocknedge.

had a small hitch regarding my membership and it never got out of the gate. jimmy squashed it and a shooting we will go.

im going to check out the former colisimos and probably join but will be going up to franks still.

i like everything about the place. i dropped 80 today between my membership, targets, H#9, patches and a t shirt.

patronize your local gun shop folks. the rewards for doing so cannot be measured in just dollars and cents.

thank you frank and staff for providing a great range and shop!

    ruggerio-
thank you for the range report. $20 isn't too bad for a range rental rate. im shopping for another range that is friendlier after Phila archery & gun club (ellsworth st) told me they aren't allowing non-members to shoot there. i went to Firing Line, and they are good for range use, but they have very few rentals.

A new range called "the gun range" at 542-544 Percy st doesn't have a ffl yet and they told me that they won't rent guns to a single person, has to be a group of 2 people.
