Just picked up Walther P22
So this weekend I picked up a used(looked to be unfired) P22 with 2 mags, and 5" barrel kit for $290. I took it to the range and shot a couple hundred rounds through the 5" barrel. Next time I am going to shoot the 3.4" barrel and see if I notice any accuracy difference.
I bought this mainly as a cheaper way to get out and shoot some targets, but also because it had the option of so many accessories. Something that I can play around with and have fun changing things on.
So with that said, what are the must have accessories for my new addition?

I've always thought they were neat little guns.
Good for you my friend.

Very nice! I haven't accessorized mine at all, but i really enjoy shooting it. I can be more accurate with the MKIII, but I like the snappy feel the P22 provides. Great gun. Congrats!

Re: Just picked up Walther P22
As its a fun gun, why not a laser for that rail?
Walther makes a really nice looking one that fits great.
And not to mention. a suppressor!
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Re: Just picked up Walther P22
ive owned 3 and currently own 1. NEVER had any problems with them that are not normal to other rimfires. I sold my first 2 and then had to purchase my 3rd when i bought a silencer for it! Yes I bought the silencer without having a gun to put it on lol. IMHO there are only 3 "real" looking rimfire pistols right now...the p22, sig mosquito and gsg 1911. I have seen too many mosquito's that just plain wouldnt shoot so I wouldnt buy one. I will however own a gsg 1911 so put my suppressor on also! So enjoy it and have a great time shooting all day for $10....yes ALL day lol

Re: Just picked up Walther P22
Has anyone had issues with the front sight falling off? I purchased one about a month ago... Out of the box it look like they dipped the gun in a pool of oil and lubricant - not sure if that had anything to do with it. I shoot in a somewhat wooded area and was lucky enough to find the sight after about 15 minutes or searching...

Re: Just picked up Walther P22
Congrads on your P22 purchase. I have an OD green one which I love. So far, I have well over 1000 rounds through mine without a single issue except the occasional bad .22 round that we've all come to love.
With that said, I was looking at adding the plus 3 follower to my mags. I don't know anybody that has one, but they're not that much money and will allow you to shoot 13 rounds instead of the standard 10. As of now, I don't think they offer a regular extended mag for this gun yet, so this would be the way to go.
