Very nice of Dan and WJET to cover our small dinner. The turkey sandwich was delicious!
Michele and Steve's message came across clearly, and I applaud them both for standing up for us all.
DeltaII5,
That is indeed Carl in the pics. Too bad you couldn't make it, it was a great time.

Re: Erie Open Carry Top news on TV
Here's the comment I left...
Once, while shopping with my wife in W-mart, I saw a man carrying a handgun on his hip(not concealed).
I excitedly told my wife that there was a guy in the checkout line carrying his gun openly. Her reply was, "That's nice, what kind of cookies do you want?" She didn't even turn to look.
It seems that neither of us has been "brainwashed" to automatically think "GUN equals BAD!"
I wish more people could use the brains god gave them, and realize that a firearm is a tool. It can be used in many ways, by many different people... some use them for competition, some for hunting, some for their unique historical value, and many people realize that they themselves are responsible for their own safety.
It has been upheld by the supreme court that the police have no duty to "protect" you.
Carrying a handgun for protection is a great responsibility. I commend those who have taken the responsibility of protecting their families upon themselves. Those who believe that it is someone else's "job" to protect them are fooling themselves and it's sad that they would push that responsibility on someone else.
A person with a handgun on their side, in plain sight is the LAST person we should worry about.
There are MANY factors that come into play when assessing a potential threat. All of these factors need to be considered before concluding that a person is "bad", simply because you can see his or her "gun".
I wonder... how many bad guys carry a gun in a holster, in plain sight?
Congrats on your OC dinner!
Oh yeah, now that you are OC celebrities, can I have your autographs?
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Nice job guys. Glad to see that the dinner beat the Iowa caucuses at 11pm. Only in Erie. Steve and Michelle, you guys did a great job when being interviewed! You should be proud. You represented NORMAL, LAW ABIDING gun owners everywhere. Thanks,
Jules

Patriot,
I have already sent you an email. I would like to add, here, if there is any help that is needed, don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you all for the support that you give gun owners! Without people like you all, we would be losing our rights and the sheep would be...well...sheep.
Thank you!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to add Rich...
I will be moving back home. Florida sucks!!! So do their CCW laws.
