A New Giant Food Carry Thread
Anybody think this recent member has reliable info about Giant having a policy against carry?
http://forum.pafoa.org/lehigh-39/139...lley-mall.html
The point I am bringing up only includes the first post on the first page and most of the posts on the second page.
I would call them myself, but my policy is not to harass businesses to take positions on issues that they shouldn't need to have policies about in the first place. I wanted to send feelers out to see if there are any other indications before bugging them.

Re: A New Giant Food Carry Thread
I've seen consistent reports of this very policy when inquiries are made, and I'm also aware of numerous individuals (myself included) regularly open carrying at Giant stores with no issues. It seems that while they do have a formal policy, it's rarely enforced.
My local store has no signs posted.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

Re: A New Giant Food Carry Thread
About once a week I OC in the Giant near Colonial Park; No signs; no encounters;
Ahold USA is Giant's parent company. Both companies might have the same policy or they might not. I don't see why we want to ask if we can or cannot protect ourselves in stores.

In Virginia, I shop at Martin's which is owned by Giant. No signs, and no one has ever said a word to me while OC'ing.
Hell, the baggers keep asking me for business cards!
