Has anyone come across a Beretta 92 fs compact?

This seems to be the pistol of interest to me lately. I'm a big fan of Berettas and this would round out my collection nicely so I ask the forum members if they have run across one in the shops. Thanks in advance for any information.

While not a Beretta, if you find an ATI C92 it might be worth a look.
A local place had them a while back for for $309 and I passed one one.
Was talking to the dealer afterwards and he says he sold a dozen with zero complaints.
He tried one out with various ammo and says not one FTF in 300 rnds.

Sold my 92fs compact marked front the Dallas Fort Worth police dept for $350 on the classifieds here about 2 years ago. Wish I kept it, was a very smooth shooting gun.

92 Compacts come up for sale there now and again.

I've handled them, but never fired one. The shorter grip would conceal better, and anyone with considerable 92FS experience would likely transition to the 92 Compact easily.

I saw one of those in the display case at Target World off rt. 202. This was around a month ago or so.

Maybe it's still there, you could call them and see if they still have it. Looks like a really nice variation; if I had the infinite funds and safe space it would be on my list. Call Target World and ask if it's still there.

You might want to check out the Cougar 8000 compact from Stoeger

Get a new gun with a warranty vs a used Beretta for the same price.

If it has to look Beretta buy some Beretta grips to replace the Stoeger's. The guns the same except were it was made.
