HK guru's, P7 question..
What's the difference between a HK P7 PSP and a P7M8? other than the huge price difference?

Re: HK guru's, P7 question..
Found out it's a heat shield, American style mag release and $500-1000 extra!

Re: HK guru's, P7 question..
To really be pedantic, the PSP is not really found on the American market. The pistol people refer to as the "P7 PSP" really is just a "P7." The P7 M8 is indeed different in the ways you listed and the rear sight assembly is different as is the firing pin bushing.

Larger trigger guard too.
BTW, although the firing pin bushings are different, they are swappable.

Re: HK guru's, P7 question..
those are nice ones. P7's were all blue, none were made nickel or hard chrome, so if you see them that way, they are refinished. i have been told most were done by importers when they brought large quantities into the country - but i am no expert love my P7, will be getting another one at some point - not sure if i will go for the m8 or stay with the good ole straight P7. i have said it before and i'll say it again, imo this is one of the best handguns ever made

Re: HK guru's, P7 question..
I thought there were some factory nickel guns but they were exceedingly rare? I could be wrong, P7s aren't my thing, but I do want one.
