Glock magazine baseplate question
I have a G19, and have been toying with the idea of buying a G26 for carry. If I did buy one I would strongly consider buying +2 baseplates for the mags. BUT I would only feel comfortable with the Glock factory ones like those found on the 33rd mags. I have searched for these but all I could find are the ones already on the 33rd mags. Are these baseplates sold separately anywhere, and if so, how much do they typically go for? I already have 2 of the 33ers and I'm not opposed to just switching the plates but I'd prefer to keep them intact...

Re: Glock magazine baseplate question
I carry a G27 or a G23 depending how I feel that day. I run the +2's on all my glock mags except for one of my G27 mags that still has a +1. I've only used the Pierce extensions and have never had a problem with them. Some of them are over 10yrs old now and have been dropped more than a few times with no problems.
As Arcana71 posted above in the link and also from www.topglock.com they can be found for pretty cheap."Remember the first rule of gunfighting ... have a gun." Jeff Cooper

Re: Glock magazine baseplate question
Do you need a different mag spring for the +2 extensions? I've never messed with them myself, just curious.

Re: Glock magazine baseplate question
I would recommend buying the magazines with the extension on from the factory. Buds has the 12rd Glock mags for a good price right now. They usually charge about $10 for shipping. Link below. Plus extensions are not for me I use the GAP plates, they are worth a try IMO.

Re: Glock magazine baseplate question
Why not just used Glock 19 mags in your gun?
