The model you posted (3" chamber) was supposed to be introduced in the Fall of '07. Of course, it's still not available. Go figure...

Keep saving because it'll probably be another 6-9 months given the trend in manufacturing where they announce the product a year before their release date and then actually release it a year after that...

    /Beretta Px4 Storm Sub-Compact anyone? June '07, right?

No, but I kind of like the thunder 5 fit and finish better as well as its solidness. And yes, it is available now.

    No no no...

They have produced several thousand of these already. They recently moved to another state and won't be resuming production until then. There are some still available on places like Gun Broker and many more available used.

French Creek Outfitters had one of these new in the case when I was there last weekend.

Seems pretty cool, I'd like a revolver at some point. After my last Taurus lasted 50 rounds & had to be sent back, I'll be shying away from Taurus from now on.

I have one with the 6in barrel and its a fun shooter :-). The .410's make a target into swiss cheese. I usually use it with the .45LC's and it shoots very nice. Its a bit of a dirty gun to shoot (powder marks everywhere) but its fun. One thing though, I changed the "Ribber" grip to a Hogue and it was a huge improvement. The ribber grips made my hand sweat so bad I couldn't grip the gun properly. The Hogue grip cleared that up no prob and now I have much better control.

Own 2 and really like them. 1 for home defense, 1 for car defense. Can load w/birdshot, buck, or .45 LC in any combination. Although there are alot of opinions on lack of stopping power with the shot, I don't think anyone would scoff at the effectiveness of a Buffalo Bore (standard pressure) heavy SWC. Good point and shoot, and a blast to take to the range.
