    Default Holster Suggestions

    Hey all,

I currently own Serpa holsters for my two full-size pistols, a S&W M&P9 and a Springfield 1911 Lightweight Operator. Both guns have rails, and I've been mulling over getting a rail laser/light that I can use with both. However, if I do this I'll need to get new holsters, because I will want the light to be attached to the gun while I'm carrying.

I've been researching holsters trying to find one that meets the following criteria:

    - Will fit the M&P and a Springfield 1911 Operator w/Rail (the design must support both, they can be separate holsters of the same design)
    - Will fit both of the above with a laser/light attached
    - Has either a thumb break or other form of Level 2 retention or better

Right now I'm not concerned about price, as I'd just like to see what's available. I haven't found too much of anything that meets the above. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

    Thanks!

finding that combination of requirements is gonna be a tough one...if you split them up (one for each gun) then your options grow leaps and bounds
