Nice area to live in. I'm not too far over in Willow Grove.

Last we checked (to get my wife's LTCF), the MontCo sheriff's office still did the extra "local chief of police check card" hoop. It add's about 2 weeks to the process (of supposedly 15 minutes). The Abington PD on 611 has those cards at the records room, stapled together with the LTCF application. That is your local PD for Jenkintown.

As for good dealers in our area, check out Classic Pistol on Industrial Blvd. in Southampton as well as Abington Gun Sports on Easton Rd. in Willow Grove.

If you are relocating in Jenkintown Boro, they have their own Police Department. I got the check card done in one day and was off to Norristown. At Norristown took more time to find parking than to get the carry license. Good Luck!
