I think the perfect plan would be Rocky Ridge 11:30-4:30 and YRC 4:30-?

Next weekend is YorkFest and the Cigar Box Guitar Festival (at the York Emporium) both on same weekend right here downtown. I would suggest everyone in the entire area that wanted to visit downtown, that's the day to do it. All of the attractions that are normally closed will be open. The museums have some cool exhibits right now. The cigar box fest is really cool. Everything is free and family friendly.

The art show is public so you can OC, CC, NoC as you would anywhere else.

I'll be busy here at my shop next Saturday hoping to get some foot traffic from Yorkfest and the Cigar box guitar fest. The art show is Sat - Sun. The cigar box guitar fest is only saturday.

I'll post more info on next week's events later and if you want we can setup certain times/places to meet (make it easier to find each other).

    Thread hijack.
This is my work in progress.

Did you see the editorial in today's YDR? We need to keep writing letters LOL.

I still cannot post comments, most times the comments don't even come up. The stupid chatbox thing they have doesn't load right.

All I can say is WOW, YDR never ceases to amaze me.

"Just remember, though: Gun owners are "law-abiding citizens" right up until the moment that they aren't - until anger or poor judgment mixed with munitions turns them into criminals."

That could be said about anyone with anything. Motorists are law abiding citizens until they exceed the speed limit, then they're criminals racing around inside deadly weapons.

Thank you. Its a gift for my wife, i need to find a better spoon and attach the frets and it will be done for a while. It will be an acoustic/electric when its fully completed.

The box is an old crate for 32 s&w longs, i wasnt sure it would work but it sounds great.

There will be vendors selling pieces and parts at the festival.

If anyone is coming downtown this weekend be sure to stop by my shop Hi Tech York www.hitechyork.com - I turned the retail part of the computer store into a garden center but still offer computer/cctv sales and services.

I may close the shop for a break and to take a few trips over to the guitar fest. I'll check out the art show on Sunday but the guitar fest is only on Saturday.

Sounds like a winner! Just the other day CG and I were wondering if there's be a meet & greet in the near future. We could also celebrate "coyote girl's" birthday.
