I just finished field stripping the mini draco.

The wood foregrip bolt was loose when I took it out and when I put it back together i found the small bolt that holds the foregrip on was stripped. No way I tightened too much as I was very careful because I noticed the threaded bolt hole was very shallow. I'll just get a new bolt tomorrow and be more careful next time. No biggie really.

The gas tube is really short lol.. The gas tube release lever is tight as hell but so are most of my other AK's. Another no biggie..

I changed the plastic plum grip over to a dark stained checkered wood grip I bought on GB. I'll refinish the wood fore grip to match.

The dust cover is really tight and needs a little material filed off the front and it will be OK.
I really like this little firearm. I'll SBS it as soon as I can. I just received form 1 and the compliance form in the mail today and when I get a chance I'll fill them out and send them in...

Watch out for that wood foregrip screw
Thanks for the update, you'll have to show pics once yours is done.

I will. First I'll file off that muzzle nut and install a slant brake and eventually a J-brake.

75 round chinese drum mag with 2 fte's on the 1st 20 rounds... I didn't crank the mag up enough and with a few more cranks 55 rounds flawless. 30 round stick mag flawless.. I'm a happy mini draco shooter..

Took it home and put the 1st coat of stain on the wood fore grip.

    ARISE DEAD THREAD!

Found this Pafoan thread while researching the news-to-me Micro-Draco -

    http://centuryarms.biz/proddetail.asp?prod=HG2797-N -

heard they are already sold out in the USA? No wonder - 100% foreign-made AKM with 2x30rd mags and a 75rd drum.

Thought that Century was done with Dracos - guess the money being made from PAP pistols was too much to resist.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, a century rep told me over the phone that there would be a "micro" draco that would be smaller than the mini-draco. I've coveted it ever since, but never seen it. This is awesome.

Too bad no price is listed. Just through an inch of 1903 rail on it and a thumb stop. Problem solved.

It looks cool, but to be honest, I'd like to see it even shorter. Visually, it doesn't appear to be that much shorter that the mini-draco. I'd like to see it crazy short (like some of the ones in the google image search results) to justify spending that kind of cash when one already owns a bad-ass mini-draco. Out of everything in my collection, my mini has put more smiles on my (and others') faces than anything else.

P.S. USMC3531 the micro in your avatar is sexy as hell. I'd definitely pay 1000 for something like that!

The mini has a 7" barrel and the micro is advertized as 5.8" (without brake) mine is about 3.5" I could have built 3 or more for the price of one of those.
